I have no personnal expperience there, just have been warned off HT bikes by other riders here that have followed me. Makes me think the Mojo flexes a bit when I smash it.

be careful with hard tails; they intentionally flex a little on the seat stays for 'vertical compliance'. This causes ghost shifting when big fellas stand up and pedal. Better to get a short travel fs bike with a real rigid back triangle.

Think of it a a gigantic shotgun, stuff comes in on the conveyor from the left, gets the tripple barrel shotgun in the middle, and comes out the right end, minus all the paint, crap, flesh, etc. All clean for the next job.

the Nuke Proof's are fairly good at shin de-barking and the Mag-Ti version is extremely light, expensive bit light

The Minaars are freeking heavy! but I turfed the clipless as I was unclipped 95% of the rides, using the old Am41 Shimano's again and the nukeproof mag-ti flats.. works for me but I'll probably keep experimenting.

I haven't been spit at and try to keep clear, 1200 lbs of pissed off drooling biting smelly animal chasing me around the yard once was enough! And all I did was try to get them out of the yard so I could shut the gate.
